Abdullah Mawazini is a licensed immigration consultant accredited by the Canadian Ministry of Immigration and a member of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), holding membership number R707770. With over 22 years of experience in the field including 10 years with the immigration section at the Canadian Embassy in Damascus he has built deep expertise in Canadian immigration, refugee, and residency matters. Since 2013, Abdullah has been practicing in Canada, working alongside educational institutions, the federal government, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). He is accredited by the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) and by the immigration courts of Ontario and New Brunswick, as well as a certified expert in Arabic language for Ontario provincial courts. His areas of specialization include parental sponsorship visas, refugee cases and appeals, citizenship applications, permanent and temporary residency (students, workers, and visitors), and all related legal proceedings. Recognized for his dedication, he received letters of appreciation from the Prime Minister for his efforts in assisting Iraqi refugees in 2003 and for supporting the evacuation of Canadian citizens during the Lebanon conflict in 2006. Abdullah holds a Master’s degree and three Bachelor’s degrees in different fields, and is a graduate of Ashton College in Canadian Immigration Law. Fluent in English, French, and Arabic, he proudly represents his Syrian roots while holding Canadian citizenship.
